Cimrman’s Fairytale – ‘The Long, Wide and Short-sighted’ is a story of two princes who are brothers and both seek the hand of the fair maiden Golilocks; however, the intentions of the brothers are different: one wants to marry her because she is beautiful and the other because she is rich.
When they meet Goldilocks they see that she has been turned into a man by the Giant for refusing to marry him. In order to break the Giant’s curse they need to find the Giant. To do that they enlist the services of the guide Sharp-sighted who insists that before going to the Giant, they need to visit Old Knowitall who will help them in their quest to defeat the Giant, break the curse and return Goldilocks to her former beauty.

Cimrmanova pohádka – „Dlouhý, Široký a Krátkozraký“ je příběh dvou bratrů princů, kteří oba usilují o ruku krásné princezny Zlatovlásky; úmysly bratrů jsou však rozdílné: jeden si ji chce vzít, protože je krásná, a druhý proto, že je bohatá.
Když se setkají se Zlatovláskou, vidí, že ji obr proměnil v muže, protože si ho odmítla vzít. Aby se zbavili Obrovy kletby, musí Obra najít. K tomu využijí služeb průvodce Bystrozrakého, který trvá na tom, že než se vydají za Obrem, musí navštívit děda Vševěda, který jim pomůže v jejich snaze porazit Obra, zlomit kletbu a vrátit Zlatovlásce její bývalou krásu.
