The Žižkov Theatre of Jára Cimrman (ŽDJC) is a stagion-type theatre, which means that it has no permanent acting troupe or artistic professions on staff.
It is a contributory organisation of the Prague 3 municipality.
It has the following: Járy Cimrman Theatre, AQUALUNG Theatre, 3D Company Theatre and Cimrman English Theatre.
The A. Dvořák Příbram Theatre is a regular guest here. All the productions of their repertoire are directed by these companies and ŽDJC provides the companies with “service” for rehearsals and the operation of evening performances.
The ŽDJC is open to all theatre associations and theatres outside of Prague that can fit their productions on its stage on free dates, to amateur theatres, elementary art schools and other interested parties who run cultural activities.
It also offers its premises for rehearsals of theatre, dance and music productions, as well as renting out spaces for film shoots, conferences and similar activities.
